Le Parc is heading to Mouille Point, bringing its French-inspired mix of café dining, baking and shopping to Cape Town. The brand has announced that its doors will open soon, with O’Two listing the new address as 3 Surrey Place.
The concept comes from Tashas Group and already has locations at Hyde Park and Polofields. Its own story takes its cue from the everyday places people return to in Paris: neighbourhood cafés, bakeries and small shops, with food at the centre of the experience.
For Mouille Point, the plans bring together a restaurant and bakery with a retail offering. Fresh breads and pastries sit alongside a menu inspired by French café and bistro cooking, with contemporary interpretations of the classics.
The shopping side is part of the idea, too. O’Two’s introduction describes pantry goods such as olive oils, jams, spreads and biscuits, together with homeware and linens. It gives the new address a broader purpose, with room to sit down for a meal or pick up something to take home.
An opening date and priced Cape Town menu are still to come. Keep an eye on Le Parc’s social pages for the launch details and a first look at what the Mouille Point kitchen will be serving.
